I'm using this for a microwave. Only Stand I could find with the right dimensions. It works fine. Easy to assemble.

(NEW) The picture of the item makes it seem that there is no separation between the the top shelf and the sides. This is not so. The problem here is that if this is purchased to sit on top of a dresser or another tall piece of furniture, the bottom of the sides can be seen and what one sees is raw, unfinished wood. I had to sand the unfinished surface down, purchase and apply a matching stain to hide the unsightly unfinished side.

This stand was just what I was looking for to raise our 37" flat screen tv. Well worth the price and simple to assemble. Very sturdy as well.
