I have bought it to use it to transfer files from internally hard drives externally and it work great for it. You plug it in to your external SATA (eSATA) laptop recognizes it right away as another internal hard drive and your ready to move files between drives.
I did buy it to use it with 3.5 HDDs but I did try it with one older one that I had but it did not power it up at all. But like I mentioned before, I think this is meant to work with 2.5 drives which it does great. I agree that the cable is kind of rigid but it doesn't any issue.

Great cable!! No LED (liquid-emission-diode) light, a little wobbly at the plug - may be a good thing, short cord, under 3' just as the recomendations for fast data transfer require. Works, except the consumer must realize that a powered eSATA does'nt supply enough power to power some devices; ex.: optical drives. Check the amperage rating of you eSATA jack and then the volts. Even if you have enough volts the amperage remains the most important, it is the volume flow of the electric river judged by quantity and not sine wave fluctuations. I think, anyway, if you have to resort to an external A.C. to D.C. adapter get one that is ever so slightly rated at a higher amperage. The cable works well for 2.5" HD's that only need 5V power. My desktop system has a eSATAp port that supplies both 5V and 12V power to allow connection of 3.5 HD's. This cable was unable to power up a 3.5 HD.

This Hard Drive Dock is a good product for the price. I have tried it with SATA 1TB and SATA 2TB drives, and it worked perfectly with both. It is a little bulky, so will not travel too well, but is sturdy and holds the drive in a secure position. Durability is unknown at this time, I have used it less than an hour total.

Generally speaking, hard drive docks are all the same. You plop in a drive, connect the dock to a computer, and voila! You have yourself some extra storage capacity. That is, of course, when the dock actually works. This one doesn't -- at least not reliably. Specifically, this dock has a habit of repeatedly disconnecting itself (and thus becoming invisible to a computer) during file transfers. And the larger the file being transferred, the more likely it is to happen. That's simply unacceptable, since the reason most people use external storage devices to hold large files such as music and video. Long story short, don't buy this dock. There are plenty of other docks, such as the relatively inexpensive Diablotek EN3525D Hard Drive Dock - 2.5"/3.5" SATA I/II to USB 2.0, that work exactly as they should.

This is an excellent dock for adding extra drives for a desktop, notebook, even for a Tivo. I have several and all work as expected for extra storage. Connected to a desktop, it easily allows for extra storage, I can mount and dismount drives as I wish. I've used 750GB as well as 1TB 3.5" drives. ESATA works wonderful, much faster than the USB, so I definitely recommend everyone to try to hook this up preferably via ESATA. One connected to my S3 Tivo, it expands our storage for recordings. I do not move or carry my drives around so I can save money because I can buy bare drives instead of portable drives with cases. Final note, I have not utilized the "Backup" button so I cannot speak for that function.

While I see that this is designed for those who sling it across their chest, I was confused about the difference between this and others. The dimensions are the same between the C and S. I also layed it out next to the manufacturer's strap. It too was the same length. It was a fraction wider. But that was due to the fatter/cushiony edges. That is why I feel this is much better than a man'f strap. It is softer and more comfortable. I have not been on any day long excursions since buyng this, but have used it for short periods.

I did take the silver rings off that connect it to the camera. They can scratch the paint. I tied it to the camera in the traditional method by threading the strap on. And I love the quick connects. Half my work in on tripod or a quick shot or two where the strap is always flopping around and in the way. It is nice to have it on/off as needed.

I initially thought the Lowepro Voyager strap was strong and secure. I was wrong. The thinner neck strap model seemed a better choice than the wider model, which would be too bulky. In any case, the new strap was definitely more comfortable than the standard factory Canon strap that came with the 1D Mark II and 1Ds Mark III. Those straps were literally coming undone when I ordered this one from Lowepro. The CF card holder attached to the strap has limited value. Nice to know you have a spare card conveniently located, but not really necessary since the front pocket of your pants usually does the trick.
So here's the rub. The black plastic snap buckles on the strap can accidentally come undone, sending your camera crashing to the ground, which is what happened to me. Since then, I have affixed small black wire ties to each buckle to ensure they do not come undone.
There's another problem as well. Lowepro states that the underside grip on the shoulder pad would hold tight and create friction. To that claim, I can only say, NOT. The strap slips off your shoulder at the most inopportune times.
As a result of having used this strap for many months on the job, I cannot recommend it.

I bought 4 of these altogether, and found them very useful for measuring electrical loads. However, 2 of them have failed -- the LCD display goes blank. Fortunately, the device is passive, so that attached appliances continue to run, but the information is lost. One of my failed P4400s was returned to Amazon for credit, but another one failed after Amazon's 30-day limit on returns. I wrote P3 International, but they never responded. Although I love the device, any manufacturer who doesn't respond to a customer inquiry like this gets an automatic 0 stars (1 in Amazon's system).

Update -- all 4 have now failed with the same symptoms.

Quick review on the PX21 with pros and cons.

Background: Bought this based on necessity for headset + mic combo. This is a review for the PX21, the replacement for the P21 which as far as I know adds a chrome ring, slightly different physical specs, and supposedly support for stereo (?)

Pros

*Headphones and mic in one item
*Mic is adjustable, very flexible
*Great quality mic, very strong standalone headphone
*Headset itself is pretty flexible, material is very durable
*Cord provided is insanely long
*All sound settings are adjustable on the minimodule
*Mic doesn't pick on breathing too much
*Bass boost (increase bass) and sound expander (increases left and right sound while decreasing middle) are nice
*Support for PS3, Mac, XboxLive, and PC
*Game at night, or quietly!

Cons
*Headphones wont fit those with larger ears
*Sound static can be heard when nothing is going on (this is drowned out by game noise)
*The mic doesn't seem to be long enough for some facial structures
*Setup is convoluted; my PS3 looks like an octopus
*Still no support for surround sound (this would probably make it +50 bucks)
*Requires you to use the RYW wires, HDMI cable only used for visual
*Cord is insanely long
*Sound leaks out to environment... people around you WILL hear what's going on

Overall, the pros far outweigh the cons. The cons are really specific but will make the overall experience worse if you do possess these facial features/structures. If you're looking for a headphone + a mic, this is pretty much the only product on the market that supports Playstation Network (the other one is the Tritton AX Pro, which does support 5.1 Dolby but is about $160)

Oh yeah, no matter what sort of design... you will look geeky, especially with the mic.

Turtle Beach TBS-2130 Review by T. Light (So Cal)

First of all, with the correct setup, you can use HDMI sound. If your TV is equiped with a(n) "Audio Out" then you are in buisness. TV Audio out is almost always on, even if not being used. It transfers all sound on TV to the componant plugs so you can run your tv through a sterio or any other device yo want. If you run your PS3 on HDMI, than the sound is already being transferred to this componant plug. If you already forward this sound to a tuner, you can put the P21 RCA plugs in line and reconnect to your tuner. Now, sound will go to your P21 and you DO NOT need to turn your tuner on. If you dont have sound running yet, simply buy a small 3 foot length rca set, hook up to tv, put P21 plugs in line.. and Walla! you have game sound. Doing this, you do not need to re set up your ps3 sound, and you will run full HDMI all the time. ( just make sure the red and white plugs are not touching if they are dangling )
Now, the Headset themselves, they are awesome. the buzzing sound some people here is because the red and white sound connectors are close or touching. There is still a little ambient sound but it is gone during game play.
I am currently trying to get the rest of my MW2 team to get these. I was hiding in afgan and I heard footsteps a mile a way. I got the drop over and over again... SWEEET Setup!

For the record, I have 5.1 surround sound but wanted this headset so that I could play while the rest of the family was sleeping. However, my new main reason for this headset is the ability to hear things that I never thought were even in the games. I play PS3 MW2 and SOCOM mainly and was blown away (no pun intended) by the various sounds I could hear. Like footsteps, magazine reloads, etc. I highly recommend this headset!! It is comfortable during short and long sessions as I have played for 6 hrs with no problems (sore ears, head, etc). My only gripe is that I wish the mic mute was a button rather than slide activated. Other than that, if you're looking for a headset, I don't think you can go wrong with the Turtle Beach P21.

As others have noted, these sheets are very thin but having had microfiber sheets before I knew what I was getting. The color is fine, and the berries design is attractive. Stitching on one of the pillowcases came out after initial gentle washing, so I had a mending job to do. These sheets are replacing another microfiber sheet I currently have on my bed. I have a dog who likes to sleep on the bed so I use this king size sheet to cover and protect my comforter and use the pillowcases on a second set of pillows. For this purpose, the set is a great value. From previous experience with microfiber sheets, I know they wash well and dry fast. The sheets are soft and silky so I guess I am spoiling the dog a bit! But for me, I prefer sleeping on better quality cotton sheets.

After reading the other reviews, I was nervous about installation / driver issues. After I installed my card, however, I went to Creative's website and chose to download only the driver (and not any of the applications). The install went smoothly, and it didn't install any junk programs on my computer.

But as for the sound card itself, the improvement in sound quality was well worth the money. The x-fi processor does really seem to make a difference. I use only a 2.0 speaker system (two JBL bookshelf speakers with a Sony receiver), and the new sound quality is about as good as you can get without getting extra speakers or a subwoofer. Music now sounds "clearer." It also includes an optical output (you need a TOSLINK cable or adapter--it is not the "square-looking" optical connection, it is a narrow plug that looks like a headphone jack).

As an avid music fan (and Amazon reviewer), it seemed inevitable that I should at some point seek out a semi-professional quality sound card for my desktop computer. And when it comes to sound cards, Creative leads the way with its X-Fi line of dedicated consumer audio cards. So the only question, then, was "Which one?"

After some consideration, I decided upon the XtremeGamer variant of the X-Fi card. This product contains all the essential parts that comprise the X-Fi experience, yet without all the padded extras that add to the cost of the more expensive cards in the line. My original inclination was toward the now discontinued XtremeMusic card, but since it is indeed out of production it was hard to find. The entry-level XtremeAudio was never a consideration because, contrary to its inclusion in the X-Fi lineup, the XA doesn't actually utilize the X-Fi chip.

This is one powerful piece of electronics. I read somewhere (Tom's Hardware, I believe) that the X-Fi audio processor was more powerful than most desktop CPUs at the time of its release (2005), and it scores an astounding 10,000+ MIPs. Some might see this as overkill, but then, in this age of power-hungry games and high definition digital audio, the more juice the better. And this thing delivers just that. After all, how many times do you see an audio chip with its own heat sink?!

Installation was easy enough. I had to do a little fishing to find the cable that leads to my front panel audio, but the convenience of being able to keep the front jacks working was worth it. Keep in mind that only the newer Intel HD front panels will work (not the older AC '97). The box contains installation discs for both Windows XP and Vista, making ordering the Vista disc (or downloading the applications and driver manually) unnecessary. The software installation was the usual annoying affair, with a million updates and prompts about new startup programs/services. It took over half an hour for it all to complete itself, and I would have hoped that Creative would have streamlined this a bit since the Audigy series. But no matter.

Once I actually got to using the thing, I was very impressed. What follows is a breakdown of what this thing can do, along with my comments. From time to time, I will reference my Audigy 2 ZS Notebook card, which is at least somewhat representative of the Audigy 2 line in general, as far as my purposes go.

-SOUND QUALITY-

This card is, without a doubt, the best-sounding audio device I have ever heard. And, when you consider that it produces a perfectly flat frequency response across the entire audio spectrum, it's not hard to see why it sounds so good. In particular, I noticed that bass has much more definition--it's not just tighter, but some of the higher overtones that define the individual notes come out much better, thereby adding some clarity to the bass lines in songs. Also, there is a certain warmth to the midtones that the somewhat brittle Realtek integrated audio lacks--Mellotrons in particular sound otherworldly. The IA I had was pretty good, but the X-Fi is so much better. Finally, both the volume and the S/N ratio blow away anything IA can offer. You can turn the volume up to the max, and you will hear ZERO noise from the circuitry.

-FUNCTIONALITY: THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL-

This card comes with a host of software, which differs to varying degrees from that offered with the Audigy cards. The Creative MediaSource media player (now in version five) is the same, as are the SoundFont Bank Manager and the Creative MediaSource Go! applications. However, the similarities end there. Missing (very unfortunately) are Creative Wave Studio and Vienna SoundFont Studio (or equivalents); these tools, while I didn't use them particularly often (see below), were nonetheless very important as part of the package. Not everybody has Sonic Foundry (now Sony) ACID Pro or Pro Tools, for example, and a basic audio editing program should be par for the course with the X-Fi lineup; in addition, without Vienna Studio, the ability to precisely edit soundfonts is missing. Both these applications are available for download from Creative's website, but they really should have been included with the installation discs in the first place. As it is, some of the functionality of a multi-channel mixer has been absorbed in the Audio Console, which now sports three different modes of operation: Entertainment, Audio Creation, and Gaming. A link to a download of CyberLink PowerDVD completes the software package.

In practice, the software is fairly useful. I suppose Creative was trying to make things easier for beginning users, while allowing for advanced users to seek out the more vital functions. Everything seems to center around the Audio Console, and in each mode, different options become available. I usually stick with Audio Creation because it offers everything I require from the other two modes, plus it allows me to hook up my musical keyboard in a pinch. Which brings me to my next point: Some (probably older) keyboards don't work with the USB MIDI driver in Vista, which necessitates the presence of a working copy of XP. There might be a fix for this (barring visiting the keyboard manufacturer's website, which did not help for me), but I didn't have time to be bothered with it. I just booted into my XP partition and got on with it.

-MUSIC CREATION IMPLICATIONS-

This is where things really got interesting. The ability to load and play back soundfonts--not particularly touted in the XtremeGamer due to its intended market--is a powerful feature that all X-Fi cards carry. And this is where my trusty Audigy 2 ZS Notebook has utterly failed me--though it indeed has soundfont support, I was never able to get it to recognize my keyboard. I was stuck, then, with the lame ability to play a little over an octave of (single velocity) notes using my laptop's keys. Even so, I collected a bunch of soundfonts from all over the Internet, and when I fired up the SoundFont Bank Manager, it all payed off. The creative possibilities are virtually endless, even with the somewhat cheesy stock General MIDI sample set included with the card by default. Add a few foraged sounds (Mellotron samples, guitar samples, ...), and it's like a whole new world just opened up. You can even buy collections of soundfonts from Creative, or else sample your own. This card (or another X-Fi) is a must for amateur musicians just for this reason alone. Not only is direct-line recording (once you realize you have to use the Digital Out jack for Line-in--weird, right?) easy, it sounds very clean. Plus, you can lay down a basic mix just from a keyboard using a combination of internal sounds and soundfont files. Hook up a microphone and overdub some vocals, get out the guitar and strum a few chords, and you've got a reasonably high quality demo recording. Of course you need to supply your own connection cables, but all in all it sure beats using the old tape recorder.

-GAMING-

This will be a pretty short paragraph, mainly because--you guessed it--I don't actually game much. However, the main reason any hardcore gamer would want dedicated audio is because it frees up processor overhead usually devoted to the audio portion of games. As mentioned earlier, gaming sound is becoming more and more immersing, and as such it can be very demanding on the CPU. Offloading this on a dedicated component has been reported (by Creative, of course) to result in up to a 15% increase in frame rates as compared to motherboard audio. Also, dedicated components almost always perform better overall than their integrated counterparts, so it's worth it just to get the whole experience. Plus, some games don't even offer the highest audio settings unless they detect an X-Fi audio card in the system, so it pays to get one.

-CONSIDERATIONS-

Generally, there are a few things to consider when making this purchase. One of those is if your power supply can handle it. This is an extremely powerful piece of hardware, and as such it draws a considerable amount of wattage. Make sure you have wiggle room with your PSU. Also, you might want to make sure your motherboard has an open PCI 2.1 slot before you purchase--it saves on the hell and frustration should you discover otherwise. Also, though it's shorter than most of the X-Fi boards, you might still have a little trouble fitting this card in some smaller, more cramped cases. You might have to rearrange some power connectors and other cables in order to fit the card in its place. Finally, if you're a really serious gamer with a limitless budget, remember that there are even better cards than the XtremeGamer. The Fatal1ty line is a special subset of the X-Fi family, and is designed for the hardcore gamer who wants the absolute best gaming performance along with the best audio performance. These cards have additional enhancements as per the standard X-Fi line, and you might be more interested in these if you fit into the above category.

-COMPARISON TO AUDIGY-

One of the main gripes with the Audigy line was that it was hardware-coded to 48,000 Hz/16-bit resolution, and thus any other resolution source needed to be internally resampled before it could be digitally processed. This wasn't handled very well by the hardware, and artifacts could be heard in the sound. I observed this in real time when I played my keyboard through my A2 ZS Notebook: A persistent hissing would start up whenever a note was sounded, yet it would disappear when the note ceased. This only happened when I was using effects processing; when the patch was played dry, there was no noise. This annoying effect (which led many to use software rendering to manually resample before processing through the card) was finally eliminated with the X-Fi, which uses an entirely new architecture which allows near transparent resampling to and from all resolutions.


All in all, though there are certainly a few things that could have been improved, this is a wonderful sound card. It sounds great, it's powerful, and the creative potential it facilitates--something not as widely advertised as its gaming and entertainment merits--all combine to make the XtremeGamer card a must have in the arsenal of any serious audio enthusiast, amateur musician, or (yes) gamer. I can wholeheartedly recommend this card to anybody who fits the above list; it really is everything you've heard and more.

I love the otter box design, but the clear, plastic screen that covers the front of the iPhone4 was gummy and I cannot see through it for all the bubbles. It was impossible to get it to adhere without bubbles due to the dirty, sticky substance that I was unable to clean off prior to assembling it. I plan to cut the plastic screen off so I can see my iPhone. Very disappointed!

I have tried using the "baby powder technique" recommend by Great Bargins several times. This is to remove the bubbles or water marks from the screen. It leaves a dusty, chalky film on the face of the phone. You SHOULD NOT have to do this! I've had several friends with otter boxes that have not had this issue. Great Bargins agreed to send me a replacement along with a return label for postage for the defective box. Then they said I would have to send the defective box back to them and then they would send a replacement. I am over it! I've tried to resolve this for two weeks and can't get them to email a return label and return postage to me. If you are going to buy an otter box buy one that is SOLD BY AMAZON!

I am very disappointed in this product. I had an Otter Box for my iPhone 3G/GS that was very secure. The Otter Box for the iPhone 4 is flimsy and does not seal well. I have no confidence that it will provide the level of protection I had expected based on my previous experience. I do not recommend this product. At best, it may give you a false sense of security.

This is a very comfortable riding jacket. The black parts are actually tight mesh so wind goes right through. Good padding on the arms and a foam pad for your spine. Comfortable adjustable straps and velcro sleeves. No flapping pieces to drive you craze when riding. I have a Dual Sport bike and this jacket is great for just casual riding. If you need real protection you will need to go buy a more expensive hard padded jacket.

I ordered this jacket because I needed to drive a motorcycle in the Arizona desert over the Labor Day weekend. It arrived quickly, and it fits nicely (a little snug in the middle, so if you have a large tummy best order a larger size). It has lots of vents, and it worked like a dream on the ride. It kept the sun off and the wind blew through it. So don't expect it to keep you warm in cold weather; that's not it's design.
